Why Activated nuts?

It is believed that by activating (or soaking) some of the proteins, starches, oils and other nutrients like phytates, are broken down making them more digestible.

Phytates are a plant seed compound which binds to minerals (such as iron, calcium and zinc). During soaking, the presence of water releases phytase enzymes which break down phytates releasing the minerals for the plant to use.

Only the highest quality nuts are used for 2Die4 activated nuts. An organic certification alone is not sufficient, the nuts are harvested gently and opened without heat.

The organic farmers  are visited at their plantations to ensure the highest quality standard of nuts. When standards are met they are selected as partners.
